N E W S - June 12th
- Due to the success of The Mummy, Universal is planning on remaking several of it's horror classics, including The Bride of Frankenstien, which will be directed by Ivan Reitman. Steven Sommers has been approached to do a "campy" remake of The Creature From the Black Lagoon.
- Bob Weinstein of Dimension Films has confirmed that Scream 3 will definatly be the last of the series. Because of the low box office returns of teen-based horror flicks, Dimension/Miramax wants to concentrate on all the genre's, not just horror.
